Поскольку различные брокеры используют отличные друг от друга системы рейтингования, разнообразные выводы и рекомендации должны быть стандартизированы для расчета согласованных показателей. Рейтинг I/B/E/S рассчитывается с использованием стандартного набора рекомендаций, поддерживающих набор показателей I/B/E/S с присущими им цифровыми обозначениями: Strong Buy Buy Hold Underperform Sell Любая рекомендация, поступающая от аналитика, помещается на соответствующее место в системе рейтинга I/B/E/S. Присвоение соответствующего цифрового символа информации, поступающей от того или иного брокера, дает возможность составления согласованного рейтинга в системе I/B/E/S (см. analyst, securities analyst) -
