Например, конфиденциальность персональных данных (Confidentiality of personal Data) - обязательное для соблюдения оператором или иным получившим доступ к персональным данным лицом требование: не допускать их распространения без согласия субъекта персональных данных или наличия иного законного основания.

Gen Mgtan agreement whereby an organization that has access to information about the affairs of another organization makes an undertaking to treat the information as private and confidential. The process responsible for ensuring that the confidentiality, integrity and availability of an organization's assets, information, data and IT services match the agreed needs of the business. Information security management supports business security and has a wider scope than that of the IT service provider, and includes handling of paper, building access, phone calls etc. for the entire organization.
