concedere v. (pres.ind. concèdo; p.rem. concèssi/concedéi/concedètti; p.p. concèsso) I. tr. 1. accorder, octroyer, concéder: concedere un favore accorder une faveur; non posso concedermi troppi svaghi je ne peux pas m'accorder trop de distractions. 2. ( permettere) permettre, autoriser: concedere a qcu. di fare qcs. permettre à qqn de faire qqch., autoriser qqn à faire qqch.; ti concedo di restare je t'autorise à rester; sono a dieta, ma mi concedo un cioccolatino ogni tanto je suis au régime, mais je m'accorde (o je me permets) un chocolat de temps en temps. 3. ( ammettere) concéder, accorder: hai ragione, te lo concedo tu as raison, je te le concède (o je te l'accorde). 4. ( Dir) accorder. II. prnl. concedersi 1. ( di donna) se donner (a à), s'offrir (a à). 2. ( estens) ( essere disponibile) se laisser approcher (a par).
