Вид банковской операции, заключающийся в получении банком денег по различным документам (векселям, чекам и т.п.) от имени своих клиентов и зачислении их в установленном порядке на счет получателя средств. Поставщик обязан предъявлять в банк на И. платежные требования непосредственно вслед за отправкой продукции. При наступлении срока платежа и временном отсутствии средств у покупателя акцептованные им платежные требования оплачиваются банком за счет ссуды (если покупатель не имеет права на ее получение, платежные требования приобретают силу исполнительных документов). В 1978 г. Международной торговой палатой были разработаны "унифицированные правила по инкассо".
