При этом напряжения прямой последовательности прикладывают к выводам обмотки высшего напряжения в алфавитном порядке (если они обозначены буквами) или в числовой последовательности (если они обозначены цифрами). Принято, что векторы напряжений вращаются против часовой стрелки
Примечание — Вектор обмотки высшего напряжения принят в качестве базисного; смещение вектора напряжения любой другой обмотки обычно выражают в часах, при этом время указывает вектор напряжения данной обмотки (аналогично часовой стрелке), когда вектор обмотки высшего напряжения показывает 12 ч (аналогично минутной стрелке); возрастающие числа указывают на увеличивающийся сдвиг фаз.
