Цена товара в точке равновесия спроса и предложения.

равновесная цена
Цена, при которой объем спроса на рынке равен объему предложения. На графике спроса и предложения она определяется в точке пересечения кривой спроса и кривой предложения (см. рис. A.4 к статье «Анализ спроса и предложения«). В принципе Р.ц. могут устанавливаться либо автоматически в результате действия рыночного механизма, либо расчетным путем, например, на основе теории оптимального ценообразования. Уровень Р.ц. наиболее высок в условиях монопольной структуры рынка (см. Монополия) и наиболее низок в условиях свободной конкуренции. Либерализация цен, проведенная в России в 1992 г., означала переход к системе Р.ц., устанавливаемых в основном автоматически (за исключением ценообразования на продукцию естественных монополий). Однако высокий уровень монополизации производства многих видов продукции в результате проводившейся прежде политики крайне высокой специализации и концентрации предприятий, а также ряд других обстоятельств, привели к ускоренной инфляции И. хотя равновесие на рынке было достигнуто (впервые за многие десятилетия), уровень Р.ц. оказался чрезвычайно высоким.
