Масса рекламных и информационных сюжетов, передаваемых в короткие промежутки времени, причем каждый из них соревнуется за внимание слушателя или зрителя, а все вместе они снижают восприятие каждого из них. Применительно к наружной рекламе – большое количество рекламных щитов в недостаточной удаленности друг от друга. Клаттер – бич рекламного рынка. Особенно это характерно для наружной рекламы. На улицах городов мы наблюдаем огромное количество рекламных щитов. Слишком много их, как утверждают специалисты (впрочем, это заметно и рядовому потребителю), и в Москве. Это снижает эффективность рекламных кампаний, поскольку потребителю все сложнее различать рекламируемые бренды. Один специалист в наружной рекламе как-то довольно точно сравнил ситуацию на улицах столицы с коммунальной кухней, где все развешивают свои простыни. У кого-то они яркие и красивые, кто-то скромнее, но общее впечатление остается именно таким – кухня с множеством простыней.
