CITIZENS' ADVICE BUREAU Las oficinas de información al ciudadano, Citizens' Advice Bureaux o CABs, se crearon en 1939 para asesorar al pueblo británico sobre las normas que había que cumplir en tiempos de guerra. Después pasaron a ser un servicio de asesoramiento general al público, ofreciendo información gratuita y ayuda en problemas de carácter diverso. Actualmente se encargan de aconsejar en lo concerniente a la vivienda, problemas económicos, prestaciones y servicios sociales y derechos del consumidor.
