    2) относящийся к т. н. censuales или magister census: cens. ministerium (1. 2 C. 10, 69), munus (1. 2 C. 12, 29);

    testamenta, quae apud officium cens. publicari solent (I. 18 C. 6, 23);

    cens. apparitio, прислуга т. н. magister census (1. 23 eod.).

  • 3 census

    1) ценз, оценка и контроль за имуществом и гражданскими отношениями каждого римлянина во время Республики, census agere, произвести ценз (I. 2 § 17 D. 1, 2. Ulp. I, 8. cf. Gaj. I, 17. 140. 160. II. 274). 2) во время Империи census обоз. оценку имущества граждан для распределения податей, причем имена лиц и имущество, подлежащее сбору, заносились в цензорские списки (tabulae) (tit. D. 50, 15. C. 11, 57);

    Magister census (см. censuales); отсюда обложение податью: census peraequationis modus (1. 10 C. 11, 47).

    3) показания каждого отдельного гражданина об имуществе, подлежащем податям;

    census аccipere, принимать показания (1. 1 § 2 D. 50, 4);

    census crimen, утайка пошлин (1. 53 D. 5, 1);

    fraudati census accusatio (1. 1 C. 9, 41).
