10 CASH RATIO
(LIQUIDITY RATIO) (коэффициент наличности (коэффициент ликвидности) Отношение наличных резервов банка в банкнотах, монетах и т.д. к его суммарным обязательствам перед клиентами, т.е. к сумме вкладов на текущих и депозитных счетах. Поскольку наличные резервы не приносят дохода, банкиры стремятся сократить их до минимума, достаточного для удовлетворения требований клиентов. Обычно коэффициент наличности равен 8%. Время от времени Банк Англии (Bank of England) устанавливает для банков особые уровни поддержания наличных средств. В США всегда существовали жесткие коэффициенты наличности, устанавливаемые Федеральным резервным банком (Federal Reserve Bank). См. также: capital adequacy( достаточность собственного капитала). -
