Кабельным сооружением называется сооружение, специально предназначенное для размещения в нем кабелей, кабельных муфт, а также маслоподпитывающих аппаратов и другого оборудования, предназначенного для обеспечения нормальной работы маслонаполненных кабельных линий.
К кабельным сооружениям относятся:
- кабельные туннели,
- кабельные каналы,
- кабельные камеры,
- кабельные шахты,
- кабельные блоки,
- кабельные эстакады,
- кабельные галереи,
- кабельные короба,
- кабельные этажи,
- двойные полы,
- подпитывающие пункты.
