Процентная ставка, по которой вексель учитывается банком. Она позволяет определить стоимость векселя в текущий момент по отношению к его стоимости в предусмотренный день погашения. Размер В.с. зависит от надежности векселя, т.е. от уровня кредитного риска, которому подвергается его покупатель. Первоклассные финансовые векселя, эмитированные ведущими банками, учитываются по более низкой вексельной ставке, чем товарные векселя, эмитированные предприятиями с неустойчивым финансовым состоянием.
