Оккам определил первую интенцию как имена, выполняющие роль суппозиций, замещающих имена сущих вещей, которые могут быть субъектами или предикатами суждений. first intention - первая интеция, первичный смысл; вещь рассматривается в соответствии с первичным смыслом, когда она рассматривается в соответствии с тем, что свойственно ей как вещи; это может происходить путем простого акта мышления, благодаря которому известно, что вещь есть, или путем сложного акта, посредством которого может быть познана некоторая истина, как например, что человек - это животное существо. Оккам определял понятия первых интенций как ментальные имена, которые естественно обозначают внешние единичные вещи (которые не являются знаками) и которые могут быть субъектами или предикатами суждений. -
