(ref. to שקד, Jer. 1:11) מה הל׳ הזהוכ׳ as the almond tree requires twenty one days from blossoming ; (Koh. R. to XII, 7 השקד). Gen. R. s. 69 (ref. to לוּז, v. preced.) מה ל׳ אין לו פהוכ׳ (some ed. לה, fem.) as the nut has no opening, so nobody could find the entrance to the town.
