Банковский вклад
Денежные средства, хранящиеся на депозите в коммерческом или сберегательном банке. Банковские вклады бывают двух видов: вклады до востребования (demand/sight deposit) (см. Current account 2), с которых можно снять денежные средства по первому требованию, и срочные вклады (time deposit) (см. Deposit account), средства с которых можно изъять только после предварительного уведомления. Текущие счета представляют собой ликвидные активы, которые используются для финансирования текущих операций и проведения регулярных платежей, в то время как срочные счета служат для сбережений и покрытия непредвиденных расходов. (банковский депозит) Сумма денег, помещенная клиентом на хранение в банк. По депозитному вкладу могут начисляться или не начисляться проценты; он может быть, по договору между сторонами, срочным или до востребования. Банки имеют право использовать часть депозитных вкладов своих клиентов для кредитования других клиентов; таким образом, депозиты могут существовать лишь на бумаге, в банковских книгах. Деньги, помещенные на хранение в банк, могут лежать на депозитном счете (deposit account) или на текущем счете (Current account), хотя в настоящее время некоторые банки предлагают своим клиентам открытие специальных счетов с начислением высоких процентов. -
