«Человек-мешок». Человек, который собирает и распределяет деньги, добытые рэкетирами. Раньше такую личность всегда можно было узнать по большому мешку с деньгами. По аналогии образовано слово a legman («человек-нога») — часто полицейский, занимающийся расследованием, сбором данных, совершая пешие обходы. В США a legman — это журналист, который сообщает новости с места события или собирает информацию, бегая по городу. A wheelman («человек-руль») — это шофёр машины, на которой воры скрываются с места преступления. -
