61 Crepe Elizabeth
A variety of georgette crepe with a pebbly or mottled appearance. A higher twist in the yarns is used than for voiles. The warp is two right and two reverse twist, with weft similar. Silk yarns of 75 denier with about 65 turns per inch are used. -
62 Imitation Backed Fabrics
This class of fabric is largely used in the wool industry for making coatings and dress fabrics of a medium weight. They are really the backs of corkscrew weaves stitched to produce reasonable imitations of common twills on the back of the fabric. All ends and picks weave on both sides of the cloth.
