21 National Aerospace Plane
национальная программа "Космический самолет"Экспериментальный тип летательного аппарата, сочетающий элементы самолета и космического корабля. По проекту должен использовать реактивные двигатели для полета в атмосфере и ракетные двигатели для полета в космосе с использованием ракетного топлива со скоростями порядка 5 М (махов). Использует водородное топливо. Прообразом такого самолета являлись экспериментальные проекты самолетов X-15, X-15B и X-20.
