Быстродействие биметаллической пластины прямо пропорционально значению протекающего через расцепитель тока. Тепловой расцепитель характеризуется тепловой инерцией, и после замыкания сработавшего автоматического выключателя время следующего срабатывания расцепителя уменьшается.
