скорость доступа
Скорость доступа представляет собой максимальную скорость передачи данных, при которой данные могут поступать в сеть или извлекаться из сети. Она определяется по скорости канала доступа. Скорость в доступе согласуется на определенный период времени на основании двусторонних соглашений между двумя взаимодействующими сетями. Параметр «скорость в доступе» назначается отдельно для каждого оконечного устройства сигнализации. (МСЭ-Т Х.76).

1) среднее время, прошедшее между запросом данных при их чтении или поиске (например, с диска или из ОЗУ) и получением данных запрашивающим устройством (аналогично - для операции записи данных). Определяется временем поиска (seek time) и скоростью пересылки данных (transfer rate). Используется как характеристика микросхем памяти и некоторых классов устройств ввода-вывода. Среднее время доступа для микросхем ОЗУ составляет 50-70 нс., для дисков - 10-18 мс.Для библиотеки оптических дисков с автоматической загрузкой дисков ( jukebox) - время, затрачиваемое на поиск требуемого диска, вставление его в накопитель, до момента начала передачи данных в главную системуThe access times of most currently available RAM devices are long relative to processor cycle times. — Времена доступа большинства нынешних микросхем ОЗУ весьма велики по сравнению с длительностью такта процессора (см. тж.
