וָהּ(הֲוָהּ) וָוהּ (interj.; cmp. b. h. הָהּ, הֶאָח) vah (hăvah), an exclamation of pleasure; ah!, contradist. to וַוי (woe!). Lam. R. to I, 5 למה אמרת ווי אמר וה אמרי (Ar. וַאי) why didst thou exclaim, Vay (woe!)? Said he, I said Vah. Ib. בין וי לוהוכ׳ between Vay and Vah R. Joḥ. escaped.Pesik.
