A general term for all cloths in lengths from about 36 yards upwards. -

4 Narrow Goods
A term used to denote piece-goods, approximately 27-in. wide or less. The term is used as distinct from broad goods, but the figure 27-in. should not be taken as the limit for narrow goods. -
