2 Ruf
Ruf, I) im allg.: vocatus (das Rufen). – vox (der Laut der Stimme). – cantus (Geschrei eines Vogels, z.B. cuculi). – auf den R. kommen (v. Tieren), voci parēre vocatum: auf jmds. R. kommen, alcis vocatu od. ab alqo vocatum od. invitatum venire: es erschallt der R. »zu den Waffen!«, conclamant arma: er läßt den R. erschallen, bricht in den R. aus, es sei etc., clamat m. folg. Akk. u.
