Souvent considéré comme un format, PostScript est techniquement un langage de programmation. Son copyright appartient à la société Adobe, éditeur de logiciels de lecture et de logiciels graphiques. Développé par Adobe à partir de 1985, PostScript est un langage de description de page devenu un standard international d’imagerie utilisé par nombre d’imprimeurs et d’éditeurs. Un fichier PostScript est défini par l’extension ".ps". Les fichiers PostScript peuvent être convertis au format PDF (portable document format), le format phare d’Adobe. -
