2 PRICE MARKING ORDER
Порядок указания цены
Дополнение к британскому Закону о ценах 1974 г., принятое в 1979 г. Закон запрещает продавцам указывать такую цену на свой товар, которая может ввести покупателя в заблуждение, например: « Товар стоимостью Ј10 мы продаем всего за Ј5» или «У нас снижение цен до 50%». Не разрешается также сравнивать свои цены с ценами других продавцов. Правильно обозначенная цена должна быть привязана к своей же предыдущей цене или к розничной цене, рекомендованной производителем. Меры, предпринимаемые государственными и независимыми организациями, например, Ассоциацией потребителей в Великобритании, для защиты интересов потребителей от нечестной деловой практики, такой как указание непонятной цены или вводящее в заблуждение описание товара, неправильное указание веса или размеров, продажа дефектных товаров.
