Грундиг Ханс (1901-1958), живописец и график, представитель реализма, испытал влияние экспрессионизма. В годы нацизма был причислен к представителям "выродившегося искуства", в 1933-1944 гг. в концлагере Заксенхаузен. В 1946-1947 гг. профессор и ректор Высшей школы изобразительного искусства в Дрездене. Политически активное искусство Грундига достигает трагического пафоса в обличении преступлений фашизма (триптих "Тысячелетняя империя" (1935-1938), "Жертвам фашизма"). Автор иллюстраций к произведениям Ф.
