1 Cotta Heinrich
Котта Генрих (1763-1844), учёный-лесовод, один из основоположников науки о лесе в Европе. Учредитель первого в Германии лесотехнического учебного заведения, получившего в 1816 г. статус Саксонской Королевской лесной академии (Sächsische Königliche Forstakademie). Практические методы сохранения и воспроизводства лесных ресурсов изложил в труде "Руководство по лесоустройству". Знаменитые писатели и мыслители, в т.ч. Гёте и Александр фон Гумбольдт поддерживали с ним тесные контакты. Прусский король и русский царь почтили его высокими наградами.
