Административный центр [ county seat] округа Ленави [Lenawee County] (с 1826). Основан в 1826 под названием Логан [Logan] Э. Комстоком [Comstock, Addison J.], одним из основателей соединившей Адриан с Толидо железной дороги "Эри-Каламазу" [Erie and Kalamazoo Railroad] (1832-36), первой к западу от штата Нью-Йорк (первоначально поезда были на конной тяге, первые паровозы появились в 1837).
