Actaeōn, ŏnis, m. (acc. -ŏnem ou -ŏna) Ov. Actéon (petit-fils de Cadmos, changé en cerf). - [gr]gr. Ἀκταίων, ωνος (poét. ονος). - Fils d'Aristée et d'Autonoé, il devint un habile chasseur grâce à Chiron. Pour avoir aperçu Artémis se baignant nue sur le mont Cithéron et pour avoir été plusieurs fois insolent à son égard, il fut changé en cerf. Voir Ovide M. 3, 138 sq. (hors site). -
