Nota d'usoL'espressione avere fame corrisponde all'inglese “to be hungry” che significa, letteralmente, essere affamato: Ho tantissima fame, I am terribly hungry (non I have so much hunger). Esistono espressioni figurate meno frequenti in cui la parola “hunger” viene usata con il verbo “to have”: avere fame di successo [denaro], to have a hunger for success [money]. -
