Систематическая ошибкаСистематическая ошибка измерения - это ошибка (погрешность) всегда только преувеличивающая или всегда только преуменьшающая результат измерения, стабильно, устойчиво искажающая его истинные значения. Систематическая ошибка вызывается определенными причинами, связанными исключительно с процедурой измерения. Эти причины систематически влияют на результаты измерения и изменяют их в одном направлении. Например, в эпоху использования плёнки для фотографирования неба, независимый наблюдатель определённо пришёл бы к выводу, что количество голубых галактик явно больше, чем количество красных. Не потому, что голубые галактики более распространены, но лишь вследствие того, что большинство плёнок более чувствительны к голубой части спектра.
