כָּרַךְ(cmp. כָּרָה) to encircle, twine around, embrace, wrap. Men.39a תכלת שכ׳ רובה a fringe the larger portion of which he twined together (v. תְּכֵלֶת). Ib. כדי שיִכְרוֹךְ וישנהוכ׳ enough to twine around three times. Yoma 38a כְּרָכָהּ embraced it (clung to the bronze door). Sabb.133b וכָרְכֵהוּ בשיראין נאין Ms. M.
