פָּשַׁט(b. h.) 1) to stretch, straighten. Sabb.I, 1, sq. פ׳ העני את ידווכ׳ if the recipient puts his hand forth to within (the house). Pes.118b, a. e. שפּוֹשְׁטִין, v. פַּס II. Gen.
