    אַחַר(b. h.; v. foreg.), pl. constr. אַחֲרֵי after, behind. Gen. R. s. 44 wherever the Bible uses the preposition aḥaré סמוך, it means in connection with, אחר מופלג while aḥar means without connection ( later on).
