טוֹרוּס (sub. מִיטַּת) f. (torus) bolster, couch, sofa. Pirke dR. El. ch. XLI כטנדס שהיא פרוסה Ar. (ed. only כטנדס, corr. acc., and add בתיך האהל; v. Mekh. Yithro, Baḥod. s.4 כאדם שהוא מציע את הכר על ראש המטה) like a couch which is spread in a tent. (Ar. refers טנדס to the late Latin tenta, Gr. τέντα (τένδα), Italian tenda.

יָסַת (cmp. אֲסִי a. עָשָׂה) to do habitually.Denom. וֶסֶת, הֶיסֵּת. Hif. הִסִּית, הֵסִית (b. h., by way of syncope, forms resembling Kal of סית, as יְסִיתְךָ = יֵיסִי׳, וַיָּסֶת = וַיַּסֶּת to cause to do, stir up, instigate. Sot.35a (expl. ויהס … אל, Num. 13:30) הִסִּיתָן בדברים (he quieted them, because) he (apparently) instigated them (against Moses). Ḥag.5a עבד שמַסִּיתִין עליו רבו ונִיסַּתוכ׳ Ms. M. (ed. שרבו מסיתין לו) a slave against whom they incite his master and he (the master) is influenced by the instigation (ed.: a slave whose master, when they incite him, yields), what help is there for him?B.
