There are no universally agreed definitions of what constitutes workplace bullying, as there are many kinds of bullying behaviors or tactics. As a general guideline to distinguish between workplace bullying and legitimate criticism, comments should follow the principles for offering feedback: it should be properly conducted, nonpersonal, and constructive, and should not be abusive, aiming to help people to improve their behavior or performance rather than cause them anxiety or distress. -
