101 Kindergarten Cloth
A stout, heavy cotton fabric, usually made with yarn dyed warp stripes in America. The warp is single yarn, woven two ends together or matting. A trade name for a silk fabric of a peculiar weave, also woven with matelasse effect. -

A 19th century English fabric made of cotton warp and worsted weft and woven generally with dobby figures. -
108 Shell Cloth
Cream coloured serge made for the British Army during the Great War of pure worsted in 2 & 2 twill weave, with 60 ends per inch of 2/36's and 70 picks per inch of 20's weft, and having a minimum tensile strength of 154-lb. warp way and 144-lb. weft way. This was used as a part of shells. -
109 Shoe Cloth
A very strong and durable worsted fabric, woven in a corkscrew twill weave for use as shoe-tops. The warp is usually twofold and weft single, with ends and picks varying from 80 to 140 per inch. -
110 Showerproof Cloth
Many fabrics such as gaberdines are made proof against rain by chemical treatment and by being coated with some wax substance which repels water. These cloths are more hygienic than non-porous rubber fabric, as air can circulate through. -
111 Teddy Bear Cloth
Fleecy coating originally made of wool and mohair, with a long nap raised during finishing. -
