Suet. Caes. 32). – III) jeder würfelartig gestaltete Körper: tessera (größerer Art). – tessella (kleiner, z.B. von Stein zu Mosaik, von Speck etc.). – scutula (kleines längliches Viereck, Raute). – in oder mit Würfeln, tessellatus: scutulatus: etwas in Würfel schneiden, alqd tessellatim concīdere.
