Обязанностью ФНД «Лингвистические услуги» является обеспечение устного и письменного перевода на высоком уровне в период до и во время Игр. Задача ОКОИ — способствовать выполнению этой миссии путем определения целевых аудиторий, заблаговременного планирования того, какие ключевые документы будут подлежать письменному переводу, на каких мероприятиях и объектах потребуются лингвистические услуги и оборудование для синхронного перевода, а также путем детального планирования бюджетных расходов.

Language services is responsible for ensuring high-level translation and interpretation within pre-Games and Games periods. The OCOG function will accomplish this mission through identification of target audiences, planning key documents for translation, events and venues requiring language services and equipment for simultaneous translation and detailed budget calculation.
