    Tegningsret, der giver indehaveren ret til at tegne en aktie eller en fordring til en fastsat kurs (også kaldet straight warrant). Warrants udstedes ofte i tilknytning til et værdipapir (obligationer eller aktier), og emissionen sker da til en samlet pris for tegningsretten og det underliggende værdipapir (host bond) under ét. Betegnelsen warrant benyttes internationalt også om optioner af forskellig karakter. Warrants kan også udstedes alene (naked warrant). Se også harmless warrant og option.
