ну, лицо. Никаких малоприличных историй с этим словом у нас нет. Но с ним полно широко употребляемых идиоматических оборотов:Have a red face — конечно, покраснеть.
Have egg on one's face — попасться на чем-то постыдном.
Just another pretty face — человек "как все", обычный, без особых примет, ничего интересного собой не представляющий. Еще одна смазливая мордашка.
Let's face it — посмотрим фактам в лицо.
Face the music — получить, что заслужил. Понятно, что не медаль - за медалями, пожалуйста, к авторам других книг.

Shit-faced — пьяный, окосевший.Straight face — серьезное лицо с прямым и честным взглядом. С таким выражением эффектно пошутить или какую-нибудь глупость произнести, не подавая виду, что вы людей дурите. Хорошие комики и шулеры так и делают.
