(DOMICIL) (домициль) 1. Страна или место постоянного проживания лица, которые могут отличаться от его национальности или его местопребывания (residence). Домициль устанавливается по физическому факту местопребывания лица и его намерению продолжать жить на прежнем месте. Например, гражданин иностранного государства, являющийся резидентом Великобритании, не обязательно должен иметь домицилем Великобританию, если только он не намерен сделать эту страну местом своего постоянного проживания. В соответствии с общим правом, гражданский статус лица, включая его способность вступать в брак, определяется именно его домицилем, а не местопребыванием или национальностью. У корпорации тоже может быть домициль, который определяется по месту ее регистрации. 2. В банковском деле счет называют домицилированным в определенном отделении банка, а клиент рассматривает свой счет в этом отделении как свой основной банковский счет. С клиентов обычно взималась плата за использование других банковских отделений как своих. Однако развитие компьютерной технологии в настоящее время позволяет клиентам пользоваться многими отделениями банков так, как если бы их счета были домицилированы в них. -
