Nota d'usoL'espressione fare il bagno (in mare, lago ecc.) non va tradotta letteralmente con “to make a bath”. In inglese vengono usati modi di dire diversi, come ad esempio, “to go for a swim” o, più colloquialmente, “to go for a dip”: Ieri ho fatto il bagno in mare, yesterday I went for a swim in the sea (non yesterday I made a bath in the sea). Esiste anche il verbo “to bathe”, che tuttavia è usato più raramente: Oggi voglio fare il bagno, today I want to bathe.
