Номинальное взимание оплаты иногда используется для обеспечения осведомленности заказчика о его реальных затратах или как стадия перед переходом к полноценному взиманию оплаты.

notional charging
(ITIL Service Strategy)
An approach to charging for IT services. Charges to customers are calculated and customers are informed of the charge, but no money is actually transferred. Notional charging is sometimes introduced to ensure that customers are aware of the costs they incur, or as a stage during the introduction of real charging.

Подразделение предприятия, где возникают издержки и по которому ведется самостоятельный их учет. Предпосылками выделения Ц.и. служат возможности их пространственного разграничения, наличие измерителей для учета издержек, а также простота отнесения на статьи издержек.
Ц.и. группируют следующим образом: материальные, производственные, сбытовые, управленческие, общие, исследовательские, конструкторские. В зависимости от метода учета различают главные и вспомогательные центры. Кроме того, выделяют предварительные и конечные Ц.и. - в зависимости оттого, относятся ли затраты на носителей издержек непосредственно или путем зачета внутрипроизводственных услуг.
Прямые издержки можно непосредственно отнести на носителей издержек (например, изделия), поэтому их распределение по центрам не требуется.
Общие издержки, которые нельзя отнести непосредственно на изделия, учитывают по центрам, то есть местам их возникновения. Издержки вспомогательных центров сперва распределяют между центрами в рамках учета внутрипроизводственных услуг.
Издержки основных центров относят на носителей издержек с коэффициентом калькуляции.
