7 relevance
New York Times:
•• “ Relevance” has become the buzz word of the Iraqi crisis. From the president on down, leading Bush administration officials have declared that if the United Nations, as it approaches the age of 58, cannot decide to make its authority felt on Iraq, it may as well resign itself to being a debating society, albeit one with a $1.45 billion annual budget.
•• The relevance of the United Nations is at stake. –
•• President Bush <...> said again on Wednesday that the United Nations had a last chance to prove its relevance by adopting a resolution the United States with British help will propose in a few days.
To remain relevant, the Council of Europe should <...>

13 whistle-blower
(перевод зависит от контекста; иногда, но необязательно, может иметь негативную или иную оценочную окраску)1) информатор, источник информацииwhistle-blower — someone who reports dishonest or illegal activities within an organization to someone in authority ( Macmillan)
1. When a person has knowledge of a violation of the federal False Claims Act, the person can become what is commonly called a whistle-blower (relator).
2.These insiders or whistle blowers are also called under the statute a Relator -
Syn:5) в контексте: "she swore to get the whistle-blower who put the finger on her man" (речь идет о жене заключенного) возможен перевод "стукач"6) встречается также с следующих контекстах:1. Nader style whistle-blowing.
2. Nor do you – or Matt Drudge, Tripp’s biggest booster in the media – want to recall the first time Tripp, the now-infamous whistle-blower, burst on the national scene. (www.newsmax.com)
3. At least they seem to have gotten over their disdain for government whistle-blowers. Back when the world's most famous whistle-blower produced tapes proving the president of the United States had committed a slew of felonies, the left was more muted in its enthusiasm for female truth-tellers. Dowd called Linda Tripp a "witch" with a "boiling cauldron." Rich said Americans "despise" a "snitch." (Human Events)

14 inclusive
•• The debate in ECOSOC should become more inclusive. –
Building an inclusive world economy.
•• NATO and EU need to be inclusive organizations.
With 55 member states, the OSCE is the only inclusive pan-European organization
•• Both Mr. Ruutel and the Center-Reform coalition government adopted a more inclusive approach towards the Russian minority, including the registration of the Estonian Apostolic Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in 2002.
•• Bush, who campaigned as a nice guy who would calm the roiled waters of Washington but not upset the status quo, has defied the basic assumptions about everything from the role of the federal government in education ( making it much more intrusive) to the conduct of foreign policy ( making it much less deferential to the views of other nations). (Washington Post)
•• Berlusconi is not your ordinary Euro-pol. He’s a self-made media magnate, the wealthiest man in Italy, a conservative given to straight talk, and a magnet for controversies. Many center on the conflict of interest between his media empire and his political office, which is what Schulz was going after when he got hammered. All this makes for good “ summer theater” - the scandals that fill European papers during the political dog days. But it is not the man who represents Europe who is supposed to supply the grist. His task is to set a tone of tolerance and inclusivity. (International Herald Tribune)
•• Instead of covering all the bases, we wish the president would show himself willing to spend more of his political capital on inclusiveness.
Здесь можно найти и inclusive strategies, и inclusivity initiatives, и inclusive work environment, и другие подобные выражения.

15 American dream
(1965).The film proved very popular. It was the story of a very simple man who overcame all obstacles to become a rich and respected President of the United States — in short the American dream.
