Расчетный период, горизонт расчета — период, принимаемый во внимание для исчисления среднегодовых показателей плана, прогноза, особенно часто — для оценки эффективности инвестиционного проекта. В последнем случае Р.с. может быть равен предполагаемому сроку создания и службы объекта (а при необходимости и его ликвидации), либо максимально возможному сроку надежного прогноза параметров, достижения заданных характеристик массы или нормы прибыли. Горизонт расчета измеряется количеством шагов расчета. Чаще всего шагом в пределах расчетного срока служит год, но может быть и квартал, и даже месяц.
