1 Solid Healds
A term used in weaving for those healds which are knitted at a regular rate throughout. -

Very large cops used in the shuttles of exceedingly wide looms for weaving paper maker s blankets. Such cops are made up to 13-in long and 2-in diameter. The shuttle has no tongue and the weft is unwound from the inside first. -
