10 -riportare ferite-
In inglese i verbi corretti da usare sono “to suffer” o “to sustain”: Ha riportato ferite gravi, he suffered (o sustained) serious injuries (non he reported serious injuries). -
11 -to report o to state?-
Nota d'usoIl verbo riportare si traduce con “to report” solo nel senso di “riferire”, “relazionare”: Riferì alla polizia gli eventi a cui aveva assistito, she reported the events she had witnessed to the police. Riportare nel senso di “mettere per iscritto”, si traduce con “to state”: Le condizioni riportate nel contratto sono chiare, the terms stated in the contract are clear. -
12 -to signal, to report o to notify?-
English-Italian dictionary > -to signal, to report o to notify?-
