En call option kan replikeres med en portefølje bestående af en tilsvarende put option og en lang position i en terminskontrakt med samme exercise price og udløbsdato som optionerne. Denne relation kaldes put-call pariteten. Put-call pariteten skal være opfyldt for at udelukke arbitragemuligheder. -
