La letra CH es muy importante en la LLingua d’Asturies, pudiéramos decir que es la llamada letra vaqueira, por su fonética difícil y hermosa, su función es de las más importantes, pues no sólo cubre su parcela, sino que puede hacer las veces de la LL y de la X, como veremos en los siguientes ejemplos. —Chuís chevóu nel sou chumbu la cheñe p'arroxar el fornu. (Luis llevó al hombro la leña para caldear el horno). —Güéi Chexús vienu chuéu con la cheichi de la brana, nun fexu lu qu'acheri que chegóu mu xeru.
